About Sam Kalta

Sam

Sam Kalta is a registered psychotherapist dedicated to providing warm, depth-oriented presence for individuals and couples. His practice, Healing Presence, was founded on the belief that true healing occurs within a relationship grounded in trust, empathy, and genuine care.

Sam provides counselling and psychotherapy for individuals experiencing the effects of trauma, grief, and other distressing life events.

My Therapeutic Approach

I draw from depth-oriented psychotherapy, integrating contemplative practices with evidence-based methods. Every client is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet you where you are whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, or seeking deeper self-understanding.

My work is informed by the understanding that our inner life thoughts, feelings, memories, and dreams holds valuable insight. Together, we explore these dimensions at a pace that feels safe and meaningful to you.

Why Healing Presence?

What sets this practice apart is a commitment to being fully present. In a world that moves quickly, therapy offers a rare space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Healing Presence bring warmth, and a contemplative depth to every session.

All sessions are conducted online via Zoom, making therapy accessible wherever you are

I am a PACFA Practising Registrant offering counselling and psychotherapy to adults and couples across Australia via secure online sessions.

My approach is warm, contemplative, and quietly depth-oriented. I believe that meaningful change emerges not through technique alone, but through the quality of presence shared between therapist and client.

I have additional training in alcohol and other drug (AOD) support, and where appropriate, this experience may inform the therapeutic process. For clients who wish to integrate spiritual or faith perspectives into their work, this can be respectfully incorporated.

Where concerns fall outside my scope of practice, appropriate referrals will be discussed openly and with care.
